The transparent Zinc-Nickel process

The transparent passivation gives a metallic gray appearance to your product. If your base material has a rough surface, it will have a matte appearance. High-gloss products retain their shine. Zinc-nickel-plated products are passivated by means of a transparent coating and, if required, provided with a seal. This seal provides an extra corrosion-resistant barrier and is friction-reducing, which is extremely suitable for the fastening technique.
 
Transparently passivated parts are mainly used in fuel systems, trailer construction, offshore, fastening technology and aerospace systems.
